In the series, the roles played by Chiu Yu-Chen and Huang Hong-xuan are non-blood related brothers who become a family following their recognition in childhood, experiencing the ups and downs of life together for 16 years. Their bond is not only familial love, but also involves a complex and daunting romantic love. The role of Wei Qian, played by Chiu Yu-Chen, is a lonely orphan who had lived a tough life, taking care of his biological sister Wei Li Li (played by Tammy Lin) and adopted brother Wei Zhi Yuan (played by Huang Hong-xuan). While working hard for the family, he thankfully has his best friend "Three Fats" (played by Kim Jae-hoon) to support him. However, when life gradually returns to stability, something unexpected happens. Wei Zhi Yuan confesses he has feelings for Wei Qian that transcend brotherhood. In response to this, Wei Qian sends him abroad but feels something is different deep in his heart. What will these two non-blood related individuals become? Family? Brothers? Or will they break taboos and become each other's lovers?
