Through a Lens Darkly

The office worker, Ah Mo, is busy with his daily life and indifferent to his surroundings. After being scolded by the chairman of the estate's owners' corporation, Ah Mo uses a drone to spy on the chairman's life, only to accidentally uncover the secrets of various households: a vibrant and energetic fitness coach, a dance instructor with many sexual partners, a smiling kindergarten teacher, a loving professor couple, a silent and reserved domestic helper, and the chairman of the owners' corporation who monitors the estate day and night. Everyone has their own story. While spying on his neighbors, Ah Mo is shocked to see his wife, Ah Ling, appearing in one of the neighbors' homes, turning his life upside down. The once peaceful life of the couple is now in turmoil. The more Ah Mo learns about his neighbors, the less he understands his own wife. City life, with its myriad lights, reveals that every family has its own "no man's land."
