The Whole Truth

The story unfolds on a mysterious night in an old coastal town, where a respected elder, Guan Jingtang, is found dead in his villa. Captain of the criminal police, An Ping (played by Han Dong), is urgently assigned to the case, and top student Shang Jie (played by Qu Jingjing) volunteers to assist him. Together, they embark on a meticulous investigation.
As they delve deeper, numerous contradictory clues arise, compounded by the disappearance of a large sum of cash, a familiar woman in red, blood-red floral patterns, and the complex relationships within the Guan family, making the case increasingly perplexing.
Moreover, a series of murders occur, all connected to Guan Jingtang. An Ping and Shang Jie face immense pressure, digging into old cases, revealing that An Ping's mentor and Shang Jie's father died due to that very case. Ultimately, An Ping unravels the mystery, exposing the psychologically twisted true culprit, bringing them to justice. Shang Jie also emerges from the shadows, resolving her long-standing emotional turmoil, determined to uphold her father's legacy and fight alongside An Ping.
