The story follows a young man, Ma Ka-Chit, who is unknowingly accused of drug trafficking. Although his defense lawyer appears to be fair, he misleads him into pleading guilty, allowing the true criminal to escape. Prosecutor Ho Tsz-Ho notices the discrepancies and is determined to conduct a private investigation. As he delves deeper, he uncovers a large criminal organization. Ho is willing to risk his career and safety to restore the innocence of the wrongfully accused, ultimately bringing the true criminal to justice and upholding the credibility of the Department of Justice and the dignity of the law, while preventing a significant miscarriage of justice.
