The story is set during the COVID-19 pandemic, where wedding planner Wei Daosheng (played by Dayo Wong) is forced to transition into a funeral director due to a downturn in business. Initially, he faces numerous ideological conflicts with Master Wen (played by Michael Hui), as they prepare several funerals. However, as Daosheng gradually witnesses Wen's serious dedication to his work and his touching interactions with his daughter Wen Yue (played by Michelle Wai), these experiences lead to a shift in Daosheng's professional outlook and life attitude.
