"Tabloid" is Taiwan's first crime-suspense drama centered on the professional ecosystem of entertainment reporters. A joint production by Mirror Fiction, Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), Runtaixing Co., Ltd., and Ho Fat International Investment Co., Ltd., the series is directed by Leong Siew-hong and Wu Min-hsuan, with Allison Lin and Hsueh Shih-Ling leading the cast. The show features an award-winning ensemble, including Samantha Ko and Frederick Lee, alongside rising stars Wang Yu-Xuan and Edison Song.
Adapted from the novel of the same name by Ko Ying-An, the series delves into the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry, with a focus on sexual scandals, pushing the boundaries of Taiwanese television. It is set to premiere on February 8, 2025, on Taiwan's Public Television Service (PTS) and Singapore's Singtel TV, with simultaneous release on Netflix in Taiwan and other international platforms. It will also air later on the GTV Drama channel and CATCHPLAY Movie channel.
