Shan Hua Lan Man Shi

In the drama, Zhang Guimei (played by Song Jia) is an ordinary middle school teacher who has witnessed female students drop out of school due to poverty. Many girls face the dilemma of early marriage or working outside the home at the age of 15 or 16. Deeply pained by this situation, Zhang Guimei is determined to establish an all-free girls' high school, allowing these girls in the mountains to receive an education, attend university, and change their destinies.

In 2008, Huaping Girls' High School was founded amidst numerous challenges, including a lack of teachers, students, funding, and experience. Zhang Guimei, along with the faculty and students, ultimately succeeded in helping all the academically struggling students gain admission to university, achieving what seemed impossible. This girls' high school has provided countless girls with the opportunity to change their lives. However, as the school grew, an increasing number of girls from impoverished mountainous areas applied, bringing new challenges and difficulties.
