The story revolves around 15-year-old "good girl" Qian Jiayue, who faces various academic challenges after being accepted into a prestigious high school. She attempts to confess her feelings to her neighbor, the top student Xiao Han, but her plan does not go as expected. Her younger stepbrother, Mao Tou, is smart yet often gets into trouble. Qian Jiayue befriends the outgoing Chen Mo, and they grow together through their friendship. Meanwhile, their parents are also dealing with familial crises and life changes, including family restructuring.
Chen Xiue, due to her long absence, has developed a gap with her daughter Qian Jiayue. Chen Pengyu sees himself as an elite but ends up raising a rebellious daughter, Chen Mo. The conflicts between them make him realize that every generation has its own mission. The strong-willed Guan Aiping, after losing her job, raises Xiao Han on her own, while "little boss" Zhang Qiming learns to grow as he interacts with his mischievous son Mao Tou, ultimately rebuilding a family with Guan Aiping.- Keywords
