The story revolves around Wu Siu-Kin (played by Philip Keung Ho Man), who frequently appears at film sets, premieres, and promotional events, possessing a thorough understanding of local films. However, his true identity and purpose are largely unknown. Television editor Si-Giang (played by Fish Liew Chi Yu) suspects Wu Siu-Kin is the mysterious film critic who frightens the industry, so she decides to uncover the true identity of this "film fanatic" to attract viewers. Si-Giang pretends to befriend Wu Siu-Kin and his family, gradually discovering his secrets and struggles. This "walking encyclopedia" begins to forget important details of life and ultimately has to rely on his brother (played by Endy Chow Kwok-yin) to support their jointly run electrical repair shop.
