Cast & Crew
The protagonist, Yuen Wing-Nin (played by Sean Lau), returns to his tea restaurant as usual after losing his family, trying to convince himself that life goes on. His daily routine is filled with memories of the past—his wife, Kim Yan (played by Jo Koo), preparing breakfast in the kitchen, his son, Hau Ming (played by Dylan So), playing online games at the computer, their adopted three-colored cat "San Hua," and the happy moments shared during family dinners, as if that nightmare of a night had never happened. The bonds of blood have taken away his most beloved ones, and Wing-Nin cannot hate the living nor forget the dead; he can only rely on memories and fantasies to fill the void in his heart.
In this confusing life, Wing-Nin strives to live as a "father," constantly seeking a sense of reality even while separated from his son by a window. Can the suffocating relationship between father and son find hope in the long night and become a redemption for each other's survival?
