"Not A Murder Story" tells the story of an ordinary man, Dong Dong (played by Liu Kuan-Ting), who has an unexpected one-night stand with his neighbor, a flight attendant named Lin Meng (played by Sui Tang). The next day, he discovers that Lin Meng has been murdered. Since Dong Dong was the last person to see Lin Meng, he naturally becomes the primary suspect. In order to clear his name and maintain his relationship with his girlfriend, Xiao Lu (played by Wang Jing), Dong Dong begins to search for the real killer. However, during his investigation, he is shocked to find that everyone in the apartment has their own dark secrets. Once the truth is uncovered, everything will instantly fall apart.
