"Last Song For You is a Hong Kong fantasy romance film produced by Mei Ah Entertainment Group Co., Ltd., with distribution handled by Intercontinental Film Distributors (H.K.) Ltd. The film received financial support of 5 million HKD from the Hong Kong Film Development Fund and the Cultural and Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA). It is directed and written by emerging director Jill Leung, and stars Ekin Cheng, Ian Chan, Natalie Hsu, and Cecilia Choi Sze-wan.
The story is inspired by the director's feelings of confusion during the creative process, depicting a musician who, faced with a creative block, chooses to escape and embarks on a healing journey that reveals the hopes and regrets of life at different stages of age. The film is nominated for the Harbour section at the 54th Rotterdam International Film Festival and is scheduled to officially premiere in Hong Kong on December 20, 2024.

  • Set in the height of summer, the story follows teenage Xia Wenxuan (played by Natalie Hsu) and young Su Shenghua (played by Ian Chan), who meet through a record. They cannot predict how long their innocent love will last. Decades later, now a musician, Su Shenghua (played by Ekin Cheng) unexpectedly reunites with Xia Wenxuan (played by Cecilia Choi) during a low point in his life. Faced with the ailing Xia Wenxuan and seeing the significant changes in Su Shenghua, she decides to give him one last gift, hoping this journey will bring about a transformation in his life.
