Advertising executive Lin Xue (played by Louise Wong Tan-ni) accidentally discovers that her boyfriend, Daniel (played by Peter Chan), has betrayed her, with her rival being the Macau boxing champion Sun Yawen (played by Chrissie Chau Sau-na). Driven by her competitive spirit, she vows to settle the score in the ring.
Upon learning that Sun Yawen was once Zhong Lei's disciple, Lin Xue decides to learn boxing at "Zhong Lei's Gym," where she unexpectedly encounters her former rival, the coach Carrie (played by Gigi Leung). Carrie had left the entertainment industry to support her family, but with the help of her friend Bi Zhu (played by Harriet Yeung Sze Man), she seeks to make a comeback despite facing numerous challenges.
Under the guidance of Zhong Lei's protégé Gao Qiu (played by Tony Wu), Lin Xue undergoes a series of rigorous training sessions, putting in her utmost effort even though it is outside her expertise. Inspired by Lin Xue's determination, Carrie reconciles with her and decides to transition into an action star, joining the intensive training.
Through Zhong Lei's strict tests, Lin Xue gradually realizes that no matter how hard she tries, the outcome may still be futile, leading her to contemplate giving up. However, with encouragement from her comrades, she regains her strength and becomes increasingly powerful. Lin Xue ultimately understands that her perseverance is not for her boyfriend but for her own transformation and overcoming the fear of failure. They all encourage each other to step out of their comfort zones and bravely tackle challenges they have never attempted before.
On the day of the competition, Lin Xue fearlessly strides into the ring, ready for the final showdown with Sun Yawen…
