In the series, Qi Lin (played by Luo Jin) is a judge at the Qinggang City Intermediate Court, who is mistakenly transferred from the Criminal Division to the Enforcement Bureau. His superior, Chu Yun (played by Yang Zishan), initially has a prejudice against him due to a work misunderstanding. At first, Qi Lin's cooperation with the team is not smooth. However, after handling cases such as the "luxury car hit-and-run case," "divorce house eviction case," "shared bicycle deposit case," "college student nude loan case," and the "ten thousand tons of grain enforcement case," Qi Lin gains a deep understanding of the "emotions, reason, and law" involved in enforcement and gradually develops affection for Chu Yun.
The Qinggang Intermediate Court decides to assign the city's key project, the development challenge of the Global International Center, specifically the "Changsheng Village Eviction Case," to Chu Yun's team. However, behind this lies a conspiracy: developer Chen Qilun (played by Zhang Xilin) illegally occupies several nail houses in the village and, by corrupting the mayor's secretary and coercing the court's vice president, forcibly evicts the residents to achieve his rapid development goals. Qi Lin becomes aware of the situation and, despite Chen Qilun's various tactics, continues to investigate thoroughly. Ultimately, Chen Qilun dies in a shootout while kidnapping Chu Yun, and the other offenders are punished according to party and national laws. The demolition issue of Changsheng Village is also resolved.
