Deliverance

The story revolves around a secret that a family has been fiercely hiding for fifteen years. During the wedding preparations of intern doctor Fan Xue'er, played by Summer Chan, and her fiancé, played by Tim Wong, the mysterious death of her mother (Ng Ka-lai) is linked back to a series of murders involving a butterfly knife. With the help of her eldest brother's psychological treatment, played by Simon Yam, and the assistance of her second brother and stepbrother, Fan Xue'er begins to recall her forgotten and suppressed past, dragging the entire family into a grave crisis. As the family's secret is on the brink of exposure, their trust and kinship are put to the test. Whether Fan Xue'er can uncover the truth and how the family relationships are maintained remains an intriguing mystery.
