Bank on Me

"Bank on Me" is a workplace inspirational drama produced by Zhejiang Huace Film Television Co., Ltd. and Huace Film Television (Beijing) Co., Ltd., with Tongmeng Film Television (Qingdao) Cultural Co., Ltd. as the production company. Directed by Shen Yan and Cao Kai, with a screenplay by Zhang Ting, the main cast includes Bai Yu, Wang Zhifei, Dong Yong, Li Naiwen, and Wang Youjun, with special appearances by Chen Baoguo, Xu Yajun, Wang Jiajia, and Li Hongtao. Ren Bin, Zhang Xinyi, and Feng Peng star in leading roles, while He Yaozhi, Zhang Shu, and Li Bin make friendly cameo appearances. The drama is adapted from the novel "Money Path" by writer "Give You More Mushrooms." The story follows Lin Qiang (played by Bai Yu), the deputy director of the credit approval department at the bank, who offends his boss Qian Cai (played by Li Naiwen) by refusing to sign off on a problematic loan. As a result, he is demoted to the underperforming Longyuan branch. Utilizing his outstanding professional abilities, Lin Qiang forms a team to push against the odds, uphold the rules of the banking industry, and defend the original intentions of bank employees. The drama is set to air on August 18, 2024, on CCTV-8.
