The story explores the theme of intelligent learning, it narrates how a distant and aloof history professor is taught to love by a robot, presenting a profound love experience. Hengji Intelligence Technology Co. Ltd. has developed a series of humanoid products powered by artificial intelligence - the Hengren Series, among which the Heng 9 (portrayed by Huang Lee-fong), with a model number of 9, is designed to enhance emotional interaction. Chu Yi-Ping (played by Wu Ping-Chen), although appearing indifferent to life, is full of research spirit and has even become the youngest professor at his university. During his time at school, due to an accident, he dislocates his arm. His uncle gives him a caretaker - an experimental AI robot his company is secretly testing. With the care provided by Heng 9, emotions stir in his heart. The robot's companionship induces a change in the professor's heart, gradually making him more human-like. He mistakenly believes that the robot will always accompany him for life, but is this really the case?
