The story revolves around the dependence and companionship between the lame man "Qin-Fu" (played by Jason King) and his wife "Xiu-Duan" (played by Yang Kuei-Mei), who live together in an old house on the outskirts of Taipei. After his wife's unexpected death, Qin-Fu chooses to conceal this tragedy and continues to lead an outwardly calm life. However, as time passes, he must ultimately confront his wife's departure. In this humid spring, he embarks on a journey to face the regrets of life, carrying his memories of her.
