Zhou Jing-tao
Zhou Jing-tao, male, from Guangdong, began his career as a lighting technician and cameraman. He started working in the film and television industry in 1996 and has nearly 20 years of experience. Due to his outstanding skills, he gradually gained recognition within the industry. In 2000, he served as the cameraman for the TV drama "Shaonian Bao Qingtian," collaborating with stars like Zhou Jie and Li Bingbing. He subsequently worked on the cinematography for several productions, including "The New Adventures of Chor Lau-heung," "The Monkey King - Quest for the Sutra," "Shiwei Shushi," and "Wing Chun."
In 2014, Zhou Jingtao successfully transitioned to directing, becoming one of the representatives of the industry’s “acting leads to directing” trend. In 2015, he directed the romantic drama "Noble Aspirations/The Legend of Chusen," starring Li Yifeng and Zhao Liying. That same year, he also directed the espionage drama "Sparrow," featuring Li Yifeng, Zhou Dongyu, and Zhang Ruoyun. In 2016, his Qing Dynasty drama "Legend of the Dragon Pearl" received widespread attention. In 2017, Zhou Jingtao directed the web drama "Guardian," adapted from the novel of the same name by author Priest, starring Bai Yu and Zhu Yilong.
In 2023, his drama "A Journey To Love" premiered on iQIYI. That same year, his series "The Nest" also debuted in mainland China. In 2024, his drama "Love of Nirvana" is set to air.
