Zhou Dong-yu, a mainland Chinese actress, was born on January 31, 1992 in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province and graduated from the Performing Arts department of the Beijing Film Academy. She entered the film industry as the "girl scheming for love" in her starring role in "Under the Hawthorn Tree" in 2010 and won the Excellent New Female Actor Award at the 14th Huabiao Awards. In 2014, the youth film "My Old Classmate", starring Zhou, successfully exceeded 450 million yuan in the box office.
