Zhang Yao

Zhang Yao (Gala Zhang) is a male actor, born on April 29, 1997, in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China. His fans are known as "Yam Girls" and "Yam Brothers". His acting career began in 2017, appearing in "Love The Chef Next Door" and the youth school drama "When We Were Young". His bright image and distinct personality quickly attracted the attention of audiences. In 2019, he made his first big-screen challenge, starring in the youth love film "Better Days" directed by Tsang Kwok Cheung. The feedback from the environment led to bigger developments in his acting career. In 2020, he starred in several dramas, including "The Best Of You In My Mind" adapted from the novel, and "Love in Between" adapted from the novel of the same name.
