Yu Hsiao-hui

Yu Hsiao-hui (Crystal Yu), originally named Yu Xiao Hui and formerly known by the stage name Yu Mei Zhen, was born on September 29, 1975. She is a female actress from Taiwan who graduated from Guoguang Arts School. After years of an acting career, she transitioned to become a producer and scriptwriter. In 2007, she co-founded Prajna Works Entertainment with her spouse, the Golden Bell Award-winning director Tsai Yueh-Hsun. In 2003, Yu Hsiao-hui won Best TV Series Screenplay at the 38th Taiwan Television Golden Bell Awards for the show "Friends", which she scriptwrote. A year later, she took part in the production of the idol drama "Mars" as both a scriptwriter and producer. In 2009, she again participated in the production of the TV series "Black & White" as a producer. In October 2014, "Black & White 2: The Dawn of Justice", where she worked as a screenwriter, director, and producer, was officially released, demonstrating her diverse and exceptional talent once again. In June 2017, after three years, she made a return to the small screen, appearing in the TV drama "Midnight Food Store". Yu's multifaceted talent and various roles have left a deep impression in the film and television industries.
