Yong Lea
Yong Lea, born in 1952, is a renowned artist from Taiwan, known for his dual talents in singing and acting. His singing talent was evident during his childhood, and he began his entertainment career by performing in hotels in 1969. In 1984, he released the album "如果能夠 (If I Could)," and the title track earned him the Golden Bell Award for Best Male Singer that year. The widespread popularity of this album made him a big name in Taiwan's music scene.
Yong Lea began venturing into television drama performances in 1988, gradually shifting his career focus to acting. He has starred in many well-known TV dramas, including "Rogue Professor" in 2001, "In A Good Way" in 2013, "When Miracle Meets Maths" in 2015, "Proud of You" in 2020, "飄洋過海來愛你 (Across the Ocean to See You)" in 2021, and "Port of Lies" in 2023, among other works.
However, his professional career has not been smooth sailing. In 2005, Yong Lea was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, but fortunately, he recovered quite well after surgery and returned to work. He has now joined SET Art and is active in various programs under Sanli TV station. Despite encountering life's challenges, Yang has always faced them with an optimistic and positive attitude and continues to work hard in his entertainment career, earning the support of a vast audience who love and respect him.
