Xin Zhi-lei

Xin Zhi-lei, originally named Xin Lei, born April 8, 1986 in Hugang City, Heilongjiang Province, is a film and TV actress from Mainland China who graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. Her representative roles include Jin Yuyan in "Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace" and Li Li in "Blossoms Shanghai". In February 2016, her first starring role in the magical realism love film "Crosscurrent" drew widespread attention, and the film was nominated for the main competition at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival. In 2017, she appeared in the historical action film "Brotherhood of Blades II: The Infernal Battlefield"; and the same year, she participated in Zhejiang TV's competition program "演員的誕生 (Birth of an Actor)". In 2018, the urban emotion TV drama "Mr. Right", in which she starred, was aired. That same year, she also took part in the historical drama "Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace". In 2019, her starring thriller drama "Candle In The Tomb: The Wrath Of Time" and the historical intrigue drama "Joy of Life" were both aired. In 2020, the TV drama "Lose & Win", in which she starred, was aired. That same year, she played the role of Captain Fang Yuling in the film "The Rescue" directed by Dante Lam. In 2023, the urban drama "Blossoms Shanghai," in which she starred, was aired. In 2024, she won the Annual Breakthrough Actress award at the second China TV Drama Annual Festival for her performance in "Blossoms Shanghai".
