Xia Zhi-guang

Xia Zhi-guang (X-light), born on January 4, 2000, in Hefei, Anhui Province, is a Chinese actor, singer, and dancer. He is a member of the Chinese boy bands X Nine and R1SE, serving as the main dancer in both groups.
In 2015, Xia Zhiguang participated in the Zhejiang TV talent show "X Fire" and debuted as a member of X Nine. In 2017, he was admitted to the Performance Department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, ranking third among male applicants. In September of the same year, he starred in the historical web drama "Oh! My Emperor." In 2018, Xia Zhiguang appeared in the fantasy adventure comedy film "Monster Hunt 2," which was released in mainland China. In 2019, he participated in Tencent Video's idol boy band competition show "Produce Camp 2019" and debuted as a member of the limited-time group R1SE after finishing fourth in the show's finale. That same year, he starred in the aviation-themed inspirational youth drama "Nine Kilometers Of Love." In 2020, Xia Zhiguang gained prominence for his role as Li He in the youth school drama "Please Classmate." On June 14, 2021, R1SE officially disbanded. Later in 2021, Xia Zhiguang appeared in the Republic of China detective suspense drama "Never Wronged." In 2022, he starred in the TV drama "Got A Crush On You" and participated in the anti-drug suspense Peking opera drama "戲·悟 (The Play of Awakening)," which was well-received after its premiere at the National Theatre of China.
In 2023, Xia Zhiguang began filming the TV drama "The Young Brewmaster's Adventure." That same year, the variety show "My Youth 2023," in which he participated, was scheduled to air on Tencent Video. In 2024, the web drama "The Spirealm," starring Xia Zhiguang, is set to be released.
