Wu Min-hsuan (b. 1982 in Yunlin, Taiwan) is a filmmaker who graduated from Shih Hsin University's Department of Radio, Television, and Film. After building extensive experience as an assistant director, he won his first Outstanding Screenplay Award from Taiwan's Ministry of Culture in 2014 for the crime drama script "Who Is Liu Liwei", followed by a repeat win in 2017 with its sequel "I Am Liu Liwei".
His third Outstanding Screenplay Award came in 2020 with the family drama "a-má", cementing his reputation as a screenwriter. Recently, he contributed to the historical film "Untold Herstory" and co-developed the crime thriller series "Danger Zone".
In 2025, Wu collaborated with director Leong Siew-hong on the socially critical drama "Tabloid", serving as both co-writer and co-director. This exploration of media industry complexities blends his signature genre craftsmanship with humanistic depth, marking his continued evolution across film and television formats.
