Wu Meng-zhang is a scriptwriter from Mainland China. In 1998, he was admitted to the Beijing Film Academy's Management Department, specializing in production and distribution of films and other entertainment industries. After completing his undergraduate studies, he continued his education and successfully obtained a master's degree from the Beijing Film Academy. In 2005, Wu Meng-zhang began working at the China Broadcasting and Television General Administration's Film Script Planning and Planning Center and was responsible for script planning. In 2006, he transferred to the Arts Department of the National Radio and Television Administration's Film Bureau and was in charge of television film and foreign film review work for CCTV-6. In 2007, he was assigned to the "Film Art" magazine under the China Film Association. Wu's scripting career gained recognition in 2018 when he won the Best Screenplay award at the 24th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards for the film "God of War". In 2020, he wrote the script for the TV series "The Song of Glory," which was exclusively broadcast on Tencent Video. In 2024, his screenwriting work "Formed Police Unit" was released nationwide.
