Wang Yang

Wang Yang (Wayne Wang), born on March 13, 1978 in Harbin, Heilongjiang, is a renowned Chinese male actor. He entered the Shanghai Theatre Academy's Acting Department in 1998, studying alongside famous actors such as Zhang Duo and Ren Zhong. After graduation, he was successfully admitted to the Beijing People's Art Theatre. In his early days at the theater, he participated in numerous plays, including "Li Bai" and "The Teahouse." His first television drama, "諜戰之特殊較量 (Special Confrontation of Spy War)," came in 2004. Then, in 2008, he appeared in a key role in the costume drama "Dream of the Red Chamber," which drew widespread attention and spotlighted his talent in the entertainment industry. His film and television works gradually increased, including "Watch Sky," "Shining Days," and "Joy of Life." Particularly in "Joy of Life," his role as the supporting character Teng Zijing was widely praised, earning him even more attention. Between 2021 and 2023, several dramas in which he starred were broadcast, including "Crossroad Bistro," "The Rebel," "A Lifelong Journey," and "All The Way To The Sun." In the fan culture circle, he is regarded as an "Uncle Circle Crush."
