Wang Hui-chu

Wang Hui-chu, originally named Wang Li-ying, was born in 1979 and is a student of the Department of Economics at National Taiwan University. She has extensive experience in drama planning and scriptwriting at TransWorld Television Production Company Ltd.. From 2006, she has dedicated herself to scriptwriting. She currently serves as a lecturer in text creation at the Department of Performing Arts Business at Taipei City University. Since 2012, she has not stopped her scriptwriting life under the pen name Wang Hui-chu. Her skillful script writing always thoroughly explores the reality of human nature, and she uses humorous satire or genre scripts to present social reality. Her representative works include "Wake Up" and "Wake Up 2". On June 15, 2022, the TV drama "Small and Mighty", which she serves as the scriptwriter, is confirmed to be broadcast on Bilibili. In addition, she also won the Mini-Series/TV Movie Screenplay award at the 50th Taiwan TV Golden Bell Awards.
