Vic Chou

Vic Chou, nicknamed ZaiZai, was born on June 9, 1981, in Yilan County, Taiwan, China. He is a renowned Taiwanese male singer and actor and a member of the legendary idol group F4. In 2001, he was discovered by television producer Angie Chai when he accompanied a friend to an audition, which led to his breakout role as Hua Ze Lei in the iconic Taiwanese drama "Meteor Garden". He then joined hands with the other three lead actors from the drama to form F4, marking the start of his music career. F4 achieved fame throughout Asia, with their world tour concerts drawing unprecedented crowds, and they became representative figures of Taiwan's new generation of male idol groups. In 2008, Vic Chou's outstanding performance in the big-budget drama "Black & White" earned him a nomination as Best Actor in a Television Series at the 44th Golden Bell Awards. In 2008, he made his big screen debut as the lead in the movie "Linger" and later, in 2011, his role in "Love You 10,000 Years" won him the Most Popular Actor award at the Osaka Asian Film Festival. He won Best Actor in a Television Series at the 48th Golden Bell Awards for his role in "Home". In 2014, he starred in the movie "Don't Go Breaking My Heart 2" and in 2016, he participated in the filming of the crime action blockbuster "S Storm". Vic Chou starred in the martial arts drama "The Flame's Daughter" in 2018, and was nominated for the Best Actor in a Chinese Ancient Costume Television Series award at the 24th China Huading Awards. This series was broadcast on Youku. In 2021, Vic co-starred with Liu Tao in the historical costume drama "Palace of Devotion" which was broadcast on iQiyi, Tencent Video, and Youku. In the same year, "Danger Zone", an iQiyi original series that he starred in, also aired. In 2023, he announced the start of filming for the TV drama series "The World Between Us 2".
