Tse Kwan-ho

Tse Kwan-ho was born on March 23, 1963, in Hong Kong. He is a Hong Kong actor with a wealth of experience in theater, television, and film. After graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, he joined the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre in 1986 and started his professional theater career. His rise to prominence came from his leading role in the 1993 stage play "The Mad Phoenix". The film adaptation of this stage play won him the award for 'Best Actor' at the 34th Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan in 1997. In recent years, Tse Kwan-ho has gradually shifted his focus of work to mainland China where he has appeared in numerous well-known TV dramas, such as "Chinese Paladin" in 2005, the mythical drama "The Little Fairy" in 2006, the Republic of China love story "Cruel Romance" in 2015, and the period drama "Nothing Gold Can Stay" in 2016. In 2023, he played roles in two films: "A Guilty Conscience" and "The White Storm 3 - Heaven or Hell". Particularly in "A Guilty Conscience", his portrayal of the principal solicitor Kim Yuen Shan was highly praised, and he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor award at the 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards in 2024 for his performance.
