Tsai Yi-fen

Tsai Yi-fen, a screenwriter from Taiwan, initially worked as a creative personnel in the advertising industry, while also handling film marketing and promotion for three years. She gradually transitioned to the television and film sectors, participating in the screenwriting and production of various movies and TV programs. At the age of 32, she had the opportunity to break into the film industry by serving as the head of publicity for director Chen Kuo-Fu's film "Double Vision." Subsequently, she collaborated with director Wong Kar-Wai's Jet Tone Films in Taiwan, working in publicity, which further deepened her understanding and imagination of the screenwriting profession. Tsai Yi-Fen contributed to the screenplay of the film "Miao Miao." In 2012, her work "PTS Life Story - The Princess and the Prince," co-written with Chu Chia-Lin, won the Best Screenplay for a Mini-Series or TV Movie at the 47th Golden Bell Awards in Taiwan. In 2019, Tsai made her directorial debut with the short film "The Luggage," which was featured in several international film festivals. In 2020, her TV series "Kill for Love," which she wrote and directed, was broadcast in Taiwan. In 2024, her talent in writing and directing was once again showcased with the release of the TV series "Haunted House for Sale."
