Tong Li-ya

Tong Li-ya (Liliya Tong), born on August 8, 1983, in Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is a Chinese mainland actress and dancer of Xibe ethnicity. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama's Acting Department and currently serves as a director of the China Television Artists Association.In 2000, Tong Liya became a dancer with the Xinjiang Song and Dance Troupe. In 2002, she was the runner-up in the first "Miss Xinjiang" pageant. In 2004, she joined the China Song and Dance Troupe as a dancer. In 2006, she entered the film and television industry by participating in the emotional drama "C'est la vie, mon chéri." She officially debuted in 2007.
In 2008, Tong Liya gained prominence in the entertainment industry for her role as Zhao Feiyan in the historical drama "The Queens." In 2011, she garnered more attention for her roles in the time-travel drama "Palace" and the romance drama "Beijing Love Story," and she also served as an honorary image ambassador for the Xibe ethnic group. In 2014, she won the Best Actress Award at the Huading Awards for her performance in the family drama "Weaning." In 2016, she received multiple awards and nominations for her lead role in the modern drama "The Ordinary World."In 2018, Tong Liya won the Emerald Actress Award at the China Television Good Actor Awards and was nominated for the Huabiao Award for Outstanding Actress for her role in the romance film "How Long Will I Love U." In 2019, she won the Most Popular Actress Award at the Beijing College Student Film Festival and planned and starred in the dance drama "在遠方,在這裏 (Far Away, Here)."
In 2020, Tong Liya hosted the China Central Television (CCTV) Spring Festival Gala. In 2021, she appeared in the centenary tribute film "1921" and starred in the TV series "Good Every Day" and the film "Here We Go." On March 25, 2023, Tong Liya received the "Weibo Annual Quality Actor" honor at the 2022 Weibo Night. On May 20, her TV series "Hi Producer," in which she played Consort Nian, was released on iQIYI and Tencent Video. On August 17, her film "The Woman in the Storm," in which she played Xu Min, was released in mainland China. On October 21, she participated in the variety show "Deep into the Wild," which aired on Zhejiang Television, iQIYI, and Z Vision.On April 12, 2024, Tong Liya was awarded the Annual Focus Actor at the 2023-2024 China Film Big Data and Movie Channel M Awards Night.
