Terrance Lau Chun-him, born on September 26, 1988, is a renowned actor from Hong Kong. He accomplished his secondary education at the Jockey Club Ti-I College and graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2012 with a degree in Drama. His versatile acting skills span across plays, TV dramas, and films, participating in numerous productions. His splendid performance in Dayo Wong's theatrical play "Ex" gained him widespread recognition.
In 2017, he won the Best Actor award at the 9th Hong Kong Small Theatre Awards for his role in "Beyond the Horizon," and also played the lead in the TV dramas "Margaret and David - Ex" and "Next Exit". The year 2020 was a fruitful year for him, as he took home the Best Actor award at the 26th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards and the Best New Actor award at the 14th Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Annual Awards for his leading role in the film "Beyond the Dream". Furthermore, he was nominated for Best New Actor at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards and the 57th Golden Horse Awards. In 2021, his leading role in the TV drama "Leap Day" earned him a nomination for the Best Actor category at the 26th Busan International Film Festival under the "Asian Content Awards". That same year, he successfully portrayed Leslie Cheung in the film "Anita".
