Tan Jian-ci

Tan Jian-ci (JC-T), born on October 5, 1990, in Beihai, Guangxi, is a film and television actor as well as a pop singer from mainland China. He is the youngest member of the boy band MIC, responsible for the bass parts. In 2007, he starred in the movie "Lost, Indulgence." In 2010, he officially debuted as a member of MIC, releasing multiple albums with the group. In 2012, he participated in the third season of "舞林大會第三季 (Dancing with the Stars)" and placed fourth. In 2014, he released his first solo single, "Fly Away." In 2015, he appeared in the musical "Tiny Times." In 2016, he starred as the lead in the TV series "The Advisors Alliance" and its sequel "Growling Tiger, Roaring Dragon," playing the role of Sima Zhao. In 2017, he starred in the urban romance drama "Never Gone" portraying Zhou Ziyi; that same March, he starred in the costume drama "The Secret Dragon in the Abyss," playing Cao Pi.
In 2018, he starred in the television drama "Over the Sea I Come to You," playing Chen Kaiwen, and participated in the variety show "I Am the Actor." In 2019, he starred in the Republican-era drama "Winter Begonia," portraying Chen Ruiqiang; the costume light comedy "Court Lady," playing Prince Wu Li Ke; and the costume romance drama "Twisted Fate of Love," portraying Pang Yu; he also starred in the film "Adoring," playing Luo Hua. In 2020, the series "Winter Begonia" premiered, followed by "Twisted Fate of Love." In 2021, he starred in the costume light comedy "Court Lady." In 2022, he starred in the criminal investigation drama "Under The Skin," marking his first role as the male lead, and performed the theme song of the same name; in May, he participated in the new media special program "UP Youth" produced by China Central Radio and Television.
