Sun Hao is a renowned director and actor from mainland China, graduating from the Shanghai Theatre Academy. After graduating in 1986, he joined the Central Experimental Drama Theatre (now the National Theatre of China) and worked as an actor before transitioning into directing television dramas. In 2000, he co-directed his first film "Take it or leave it" with Meng Yao. In 2001, he directed the TV series "等你歸來 (Waiting for You to Return)". In 2003, he directed the romantic drama "Loved Me Release Me". In 2007, his family drama "His wife" aired and was widely discussed by the public. He directed the romantic drama "Meet Love" in 2010, and the urban emotional drama "Bachelor" in 2012. In 2013, he co-directed the family romantic drama "Hi 30 years old!" with Zhang Xiaobo.
