Shih Ming-shuai

Shih Ming-shuai, born on August 23, 1982, in Taiwan, is a male actor and television host. He graduated from the National Taipei University of the Arts with a degree in Drama. Initially, he studied in the Dance Department before transferring to the Drama Department. During his student years, he actively participated in dance and theater performances, and in recent years he has gradually made a name for himself in television, film, and advertising.
In 2011, after completing his military service, Shih took on the lead role in the feature film "Ye-Zai", which marked his first nominations for Best Actor and Best Newcomer at the Taipei Film Festival. The film also became an important entry for Taiwan at the 55th Asia-Pacific Film Festival. In 2014, he was nominated for the Golden Bell Award for Best Actor in a Mini-Series for his role in the public television series "The Free Man", and he received multiple nominations at the same awards that year.
In 2015, Shih appeared in several productions, including the films "The Laundryman", "Another Woman", and "The Bold, the Corrupt, and the Beautiful", as well as television dramas such as "HARU", "An Adopted Daughter", "A Touch of Green", "The Best of Youth", and "Wake Up 2". In 2018, he was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film Actor at the London International Filmmaker Festival for his role in "Fight".
In 2019, he participated in director Zhao De-yin's film "Nina Wu", which was nominated for the 24th Busan International Film Festival. In December, he appeared in the film "Sheep Without a Shepherd". In 2021, Shih showcased his acting skills in the television series "The Making of an Ordinary Woman 2". In 2022, he starred in the romantic film "No Regrets In Life", and also participated in "On Marriage".
In 2022, the program he hosted, "Three Piglets 3", won the Golden Bell Award for Best Host of an Educational or Reality Program. In 2024, he announced his wedding photo with Zhu Zhi-Ying, and his agent confirmed that the couple registered their marriage in 2023. Shih Ming-shuai's career spans multiple fields, demonstrating his ongoing efforts and achievements in the performing arts.
