Shen Yan

Shen Yan, born on September 13, 1969, is a male director from mainland China who graduated from Beijing Film Academy. In 2004, he directed his first family romantic drama, "Chinese Style Divorce," which won him the Best Director Award at the 5th China Television Arts Double Ten Awards. In 2006, he filmed the romantic drama "We have nowhere to place youth." In 2010, he directed the urban drama "Cell phone." In 2013, he directed the urban romance drama "Hot Mom!," which won the Outstanding Chinese TV Drama Award at the 9th China-U.S. Film Festival. In 2015, he directed the urban emotional drama "Chinese Style Relationship," for which he received the Best Director Award at the 23rd Shanghai Television Festival in 2017. In 2016, he directed the urban emotional drama "The First Half Of My Life." In 2017, he directed the historical drama "The Rise of Phoenixes." In June 2021, he served as the director of the TV drama "Modern Marriage."
