Shang Yu-xian, whose original name is Shang Chengcen, was born on July 28, 1994, in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. She is a female actor from mainland China and graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. In 2014, she made her film debut in "Mr.Six," officially entering the entertainment industry. In September 2015, she appeared with the cast of "Mr.Six" at the 72nd Venice Film Festival. That same year, she participated in the China-India co-produced action film "Kung Fu Yoga," starring Jackie Chan.
In 2018, Shang Yuxian played the role of Kiko, a genius hacker detective, in "Detective Chinatown 2." For this role, she won the Golden Crane Award for "Best Newcomer" at the Tokyo International Film Festival China Film Week and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 34th Hundred Flowers Awards. In 2019, she starred in the Sino-Japanese co-produced television series "追捕·料理人渡邊(Chasing Chef Watanabe)."
In 2020, she portrayed the female hero Lu Hongti in the costume business drama "My Heroic Husband" and also participated in the pandemic-themed film "Embrace Again" and the crime action film "Moscow Mission." In 2024, her film "Clash" was released in mainland China.
