Shang Ke, originally named Fan Hao-ran, was born in 1969 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. He is a writer and media professional. He founded the magazines Watching Movies, New Movies, and Hong Kong's Wen Wei Po Weekly. He is currently the editor-in-chief of Movie World. He has published novels such as "Shooting the Sun" and "No Pardon". Shang Ke is active in film and television planning, production, and screenwriting. He collaborated with Jiang Wen on planning and writing "Let the Bullets Fly" and worked with Ning Hao on creating "No Man's Land". In 2015, he founded his own film studio. The film "Untouchable", for which he was the screenwriter, will be released in mainland China in 2024.
