Ryan Ding

Ryan Ding (Ding Yu-xi), originally named Ding Zhoujie, was born on July 20, 1995, in Yangpu District, Shanghai, China. He is a male actor and singer from mainland China. He graduated from the Director Department of the Continuing Education School of Shanghai Theater Academy. In 2017, the romance suspense film "The Game of Asura," in which Ding Yuxi starred, and the fantasy romance film "我的吸血鬼學姐 (My Vampire Senior Sister)" were released successively. In 2018, he gained widespread attention for his role as Dongfang Bubai in the historical martial arts drama "New Smiling Proud Wanderer." In the same year, he participated in iQIYI's talent show "I ACTOR," ultimately winning first place in the finals. In 2019, he starred in the youth campus web drama "Just An Encore," which was well-received by audiences. In 2020, Ding Yuxi made an appearance in the historical drama "Serenade of Peaceful Joy," and in May of the same year, he featured in the urban romance drama "Intense Love" and the historical romantic comedy "The Romance of Tiger and Rose," both of which received enthusiastic responses.
Entering 2021, Ryan Ding was awarded the Youth New Force Actor Award at the National Drama Festival on January 1. On May 20, his starring role as a writer named Zhou Chuan in the romantic drama "Moonlight" was aired on iQIYI. In 2023, he starred in the historical romantic comedy-drama "Romance of a Twin Flower," which premiered, followed by the television series "White Cat Legend," which came out in February 2024 and surpassed 100 million views across all platforms within five days. Ryan Ding was listed on Forbes China's 30 Under 30 Elite list in 2020 and won the Newcomer of the Year award at the Fashion Mr. Annual Awards the same year. In 2021, he also received the Best Newcomer Award at Tencent Entertainment's White Paper for 2020.
