Rao Xue-man, born on December 11, 1972, in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, is a contemporary Chinese writer, screenwriter, and lyricist. She graduated from the Department of Literature at the College of Humanities, Sichuan University of Science and Engineering (now Sichuan University of Light Industry). Her literary works are known for their beautiful language, touching stories, and varied styles. She mainly writes on three major themes: "Youth Love Series," "Youth Healing Series," and "Youth Pain Series," earning her the title "Master of Youth Literature." In 2004, Rao Xue Man created her first youth pain novel, "The Elfin's Golden Castle". In 2005, she released the youth visual novel "校服的裙擺 (The Hem of the School Uniform) and the youth pain novel "The Left Ear". In 2007, she launched the youth pain novel series "Reversed Destiny". In 2009, she published the youth pain novel "唱情歌 (Singing Love Songs)". In 2010, she released the youth pain novel series "The Farewell Song". Rao Xue Man was listed on the 8th China Writers Rich List in 2013, becoming one of the most noteworthy writers in the industry. In 2014, she served as the screenwriter for the youth film "The Left Ear" for the first time. In 2015, she was the screenwriter for the youth film "Reversed Destiny". In 2016, she was the screenwriter for the youth web drama "Secret Fruit". In 2017, she was the screenwriter for the campus youth web drama "The Elfin's Golden Castle".
