Qin Hai-lu

Qin Hai-lu (Amanda Qin), born on August 11, 1978, in Yingkou, Liaoning, with ancestral roots in Huang County, Shandong, is a Chinese actress and screenwriter, currently recognized as a first-class national actress. She began her studies in Peking Opera at Yingkou Opera School in 1990, specializing in female warrior roles. In 1996, she was admitted to the undergraduate performance program at the Central Academy of Drama, graduating in 2000 and joining the Central Experimental Drama Theatre.
As early as 2000, Qin Hai-lu gained recognition for her outstanding performance in the Hong Kong film "Durian, Durian," winning several awards, including Best Actress and Best New Performer at the 38th Golden Horse Awards, as well as Best New Performer at the 20th Hong Kong Film Awards. In 2011, she co-created the film "Return Ticket" with Deng Yongxing, Ge Wenzhe, and Xi Ran, which won Best Original Screenplay at the 48th Golden Horse Awards, marking her first behind-the-scenes award.
Throughout her acting career, Qin Hai-lu also received the Best Actress award at the 8th Film Channel Media Awards for her role in "The Piano in a Factory" in 2011. In 2012, she won the Golden Lion Award for Best Actress for her excellent performance in the play "四世同堂 (The Four Generations Under One Roof)." On January 23, 2014, she married Wang Xinjun. In 2017, she starred in the emotional drama "The Years You Were Late" and was invited to serve as a judge for the 54th Golden Horse Awards. In 2018, she became a judge for the main competition of the Golden Goblet Award at the 21st Shanghai International Film Festival.
In 2019, she starred in the war-themed TV drama "Homeland" and served as a judge for the 41st Cairo International Film Festival, with her directorial debut film "The Return" nominated for the Golden Goblet Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
On September 16, 2020, Qin Hai-lu's family urban drama "Dearest,Where are you" premiered, and she won the Excellent Actress Award at the 32nd Flying Apsaras Awards for her role in "The Legendary Tavern." In November, she starred in the urban drama "Stage Builder." In 2021, Qin Hai-lu's espionage film "Cliff Walkers" was released, and she delivered a remarkable performance in the family ethics drama "A Little Mood for Love." In July 2022, she served as a judge on the International Jury of the "Tiantan Award" at the 12th Beijing International Film Festival.
Qin Hai-lu's achievements in the performing arts include numerous Best Actress awards, such as the Hong Kong Film Awards, Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Awards, and Golden Horse Awards. To date, she has participated in over twenty films and released music albums "幸福回味 (Taste of Happiness)" and "單行線 (One-Way Street)."
