Puff Kuo (Kuo Hsueh-fu), born on June 30, 1988, in New Taipei City, Taiwan, is a Chinese-language actress, pop singer, and model. She officially debuted in 2008 after being discovered by a talent scout while filming a fast-food brand advertisement. In 2010, she formed the girl group "Dream Girls" with two other female artists, marking her entry into the music industry. That same year, Dream Girls released their first music EP, "美夢當前," and Kuo's first television role in the drama "Inborn Pair," where she played the role of the gangster's daughter, Li Er, which brought her significant recognition.
From 2013 to 2015, Kuo was crowned FHM's Top 100 Most Beautiful Women for three consecutive years and was voted as the "New Generation Goddess" in Taiwan's online polls. In 2015, due to internal disputes over leadership, Dream Girls disbanded, and Kuo began to pursue her career independently. In 2016, she entered the Chinese mainland entertainment scene and gained popularity by participating in the variety show "Mars Intelligence Agency."
In 2017, she starred as the writer Zhang Xiaoyan, who struggles with creative block, in the modern drama film "Lost in the Cave Dwelling," and in 2018, she released her first personal music EP, "LOVE樂芙." In 2021, she starred in the contemporary drama "Light the Night," playing the role of the hostess Wang Ailian (Aiko). In 2022, Kuo co-starred with Chen Bolin in the legal comedy "Small & Mighty," taking on the role of the rookie lawyer Lin Xiaoyan.
In 2023, she partnered with Chen Jianfeng in the fantasy "Justice Bao" detective film series "Die Sha" and "Bing Po," portraying the lead character Ling Xiao. The same year, she also played Zhou Xinxing in the romantic drama "The Way You Shine," directed by Hung Po-Hao. According to reports from Taiwanese media on February 19, 2024, Kuo's agent confirmed that she would temporarily step back from her acting career to study abroad in London. Later that year, her television series "Breeze By The Sea" officially premiered.
