Nicholas Tse (Tse Ting-fung), born on August 29, 1980, is a versatile Hong Kong singer, actor, and businessman. Debuting at the age of 16 in 1996, he became the youngest person in history to win a the champion song award from all four electronic media outlets in Hong Kong for his song "壞習慣" the following year. In 1999, he won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best New Performer for his role in "Young and Dangerous: The Prequel". During the late 2000s, Tse actively expanded into the mainland China market, participating in films such as "Jade Goddess of Mercy" directed by Ann Hui, and the costume drama "小魚兒與花無缺" directed by Wong Jing. His transitional piece "The Beast Stalker" was released in 2008. He then deservedly won Best Supporting Actor at the 2009 Hong Kong Film Awards for "Bodyguards and Assassins", and Best Actor at the 2011 Awards for "The Stool Pigeon", making him the first actor born in the 80s to earn the title of Best Actor and the first Hong Kong actor to clinch actor awards of all categories at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Embracing an entrepreneurial role has provided fresh opportunities for Tse's career. In 2003, he founded Post Production Office (PO), a company dedicated to post-production film work, and expanded his ventures into areas such as real estate and catering. In addition, from 2012, he began to participate in or host variety shows like "Super Boy", "Chef Nic", and "The Voice of China". He also serves as an action director for the 2024 film "Customs Frontline".
