Moses Chan

Moses Chan Ho was born on April 16, 1971, in Hong Kong, with ancestral roots in Taishan, Guangdong. He is a well-known Hong Kong actor and is currently a contracted artist with TVB. His wife is former TVB actress Aimee Chan. Moses moved to Australia at the age of 13 and returned to Hong Kong only during his university years. He began his entertainment career in the modeling industry and entered the showbiz through a friend's introduction.
In 1994, he made his film debut with "Twenty Something," officially entering the entertainment industry. In 2000, Moses joined Hong Kong's Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) and starred in several popular dramas, including "Moonlight Resonance," "Beyond the Realm of Conscience," and "Can't Buy Me Love," quickly becoming a leading male actor in TVB’s highest-rated series.
In 2002, he played Cao Pi in "Where The Legend Begins," a role that significantly raised his profile and earned him the award for "Most Favorite Rising Male Artist." He later won the "Most Favorite TV Male Character" award for his role as Kong Wu in the hit drama "War and Beauty" in 2004 and received his first nomination for Best Actor.
Moses gained widespread acclaim in 2007 for his character Tong Chi-on (Dai Dai Di) in "Heart of Greed," winning both the Best Actor and Most Favorite TV Male Character awards at the TVB Anniversary Awards, making him the first actor to achieve this double honor. In 2008, he became known as the "Coffee Prince" for hosting the travel and food show "Coffee Confidential" and advertising for McDonald's McCafe.
In 2011, Moses played Song Yilong, a character involved in criminal activities, in "When Heaven Burns," and in 2012, he portrayed the serial killer Zhang Shiyan in "Master of Play," showcasing a different image that resonated with online audiences. In 2023, he won the Best Actor award again at the TVB Anniversary Awards for "Narcotics Heroes," solidifying his status in the entertainment industry.
