Michael Tong (Tong Man Lung), born on November 17, 1969, is a Hong Kong actor, as well as a singer, businessman, and show host. He has a prolific career in the entertainment industry, having been an artist of TVB and Asia Television and having delivered remarkable performances in mainland China in recent years. He first debuted in the movie "Rose White" in 1993. The following year, he launched his entertainment career as a singer, releasing his first personal Cantonese album, "Tong Man Lung" and further expanding his acting territory with his debut in the TV series "The New Legend of Shaolin". In 2000, his role in the romance drama "Return of the Cuckoo" (also known as "Macau Street") brought him into the public eye, and in 2005 he was nominated for the Most Improved Male Artist at TVB's 38th Anniversary Awards. In 2006, he successfully took the lead role in the urban emotional drama "The Biter Bitten", which attracted considerable attention. In 2009, Tong participated in the Dance Championships Season 2 hosted by Eastern Satellite TV and stood out, eventually making the top 12 in the semi-finals. From 2010 to 2023, he appeared in multiple TV and web dramas in mainland China. In 2024, he starred in the movies "Suspect" and "Break War", both of which were released in mainland China.
