Michael Ning, known as "White Paper", originally named Ling Chi-ho, born on November 5, 1979, is a guitarist and actor from Hong Kong. After graduating from the Drama School at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Hong Kong Theatre Awards for his role in a play. He is also a member of the band "JUICYNING", which won the Silver Award for Best New Group at the Ultimate Music Awards ceremony, the Best New Group at the New City music awards, and Best New Band at the 8th Chinese Music Media Awards through their outstanding performances in 2007. The year 2015 was significant in his artistic career when he received the Special Mention Male Actor award at the 19th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival for his excellent performance in the film "Port of Call". The same film also won him nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Best New Actor at the 52nd Golden Horse Awards and the 35th Hong Kong Film Awards. He respectively won the Best Supporting Actor and Best New Actor at the Golden Horse Awards and the Hong Kong Film Awards in the same year.
