Luo Jin

Luo Jin, born on November 30, 1981, in Tonggu County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, is a Chinese mainland film and television actor. He graduated in 2006 from the Performance Department of Beijing Film Academy with a bachelor's degree from the class of 2002. He is currently a National Second-Class Actor with the China Coal Mine Art Troupe. In 2003, Luo Jin made a guest appearance in the TV series "The Showroom Tales." In 2005, he appeared in the music video for "Pisces Princess." After graduating from university in 2006, he starred in the TV series "The eyes of war." In 2007, his first leading role in the film "Fujian Blue" was shortlisted for the Dragons and Tigers Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival. In 2009, he gained attention for his roles in the historical drama "Three Kingdoms" and the palace drama "Beauty's Rival in Palace." In 2012, Luo Jin played Yang Zongbao in "Mu Guiying Takes Command" and Chongyang in "A Beauty in Troubled Times." In 2013, he starred in the TV series "Agent X," earning him the Most Popular Actor award at the Anhui TV Drama Awards and the Most Popular Actor award at the Anhui TV Asian Idol Awards. In the same year, he led the revolutionary drama "十送紅軍 (Ten Send Red Army)." On April 29, 2016, the costume film "Monk Xuanzang," starring Luo Jin, was released.
In 2017, he received the Annual All-Media Attention Actor award at the "China TV Drama Quality Ceremony" for his performance in the TV series "The Princess Weiyoung." In 2019, Luo Jin starred in the urban workplace emotional drama "Behind the Scenes" and the costume fantasy drama "Investiture Of The Gods." In August, he was honored in the 2019 Forbes China Celebrity 100 list. On June 25, 2020, his crime drama film "Ash" was officially released. In 2021, he played Pu Quansheng in the poverty alleviation drama "A Land So Rich In Beauty"; the same year, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Chinese Costume Drama at the 32nd Huading Awards for his performance in the TV series "Royal Nirvana." The following year, Luo Jin played Kangxi in the TV series "The Long River." On January 9, 2024, the anti-American and aid Korea-themed TV series "Scout Hero," starring Luo Jin, was broadcast on Zhejiang Satellite TV. In the same year, the TV series "Enforcement Department," in which he starred, was also released.
