Louis Koo

Louis Koo (Koo Tin Lok), born on October 21, 1970 in Hong Kong, is a prominent Hong Kong actor and singer. He currently also serves as the President of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes' Guild and Hong Kong Film Industry Association. As a beloved actor, Louis Koo gained public adoration in 1995 by playing the role of Yang Guo in the TV drama "The Condor Heroes 95". In 2001, he shone again in the TV drama "A Step into the Past", which received a warm response from viewers. Since then, Louis Koo has turned his focus to the film industry, taking leading roles in impactful movies such as "Election", "Overheard", and "Drug War", becoming a representative male figure in recent years in the Hong Kong film industry. In 2013, Louis Koo established One Cool Film Production Limited. From 2014 to 2018, he served as the ambassador for the Hong Kong International Film Festival for five consecutive years. In January 2018, Louis Koo was elected as the new Chairman of the Hong Kong Performing Artistes' Guild, and in the same year, he was recognized for his performance as the Best Actor in the Hong Kong Film Awards for "Paradox". 2021 was a year of harvest for Louis Koo.
